My favorite baked potatoe

The Ribs, and brisket were very good. The potato salad and fries were decent. The okra that we requested to be extra crispy was served right off the line and was terrible. I may go back, but I won't order sides again.

My daughter asked me what I wanted to eat for Morhers Day. She got sliced brisket and side orders and the best banana pudding I have had in a long time. Thanks for a great meal and thank your staff too. Had a nice Mother’s Day!

My sweet boyfriend gets these ribs for me when I'm on my low carb diet. I'm not usually a big fan of barbeque, but I think these are about the best ribs I've ever had. I'd eat them even on days when I'm cheating on my diet... :)

Good food but overpriced in my opinion. BBQ is always pricey but there prices are a bit higher than I like to pay. The one thing we did not like at all were their baked beans. They were totally different than the last time we ate there a couple of months ago.

One of staff member very rude and unprofessional in person and over phone! Ask for bbq baked potato with no sour cream 2 ribs and 1/2 half brisket! All we don't do that here! She gives me baked potato with sour cream on it! I give it way because my allergies to sour cream ! Don't like wasting my money! I won't be back at all!

I originally posted a 5 star review back in February. But the last 2 times we've visited have been bad. Uneatable brisket old sides, and over priced. Won't be back again.

My family and I used to eat here when it was off Beach & Western Center before they moved to the new location. We finally went by for the first time at their new location and I hate to say it but we were so disappointed. The food wasn't great at all. If you want good customer service, this isn't the place. I couldn't even get EYE CONTACT from the girl checking me out and helping me. She hardly even spoke to me and was so dismissive. It was really weird. We won't be back.

Very friendly and extremely clean restaurant. Large portions for the bbq plates. The 1/3 burger was great and very juicy.

Used to love them on the old place! Since the new place, (before COVID) customer service changed a little, did not felt welcome, employees seem busy between each other not the customers! I order food after COVID and it tasted good. Of course a little more expensive because delivery but it was good!

They have the best ribs in town all their products are very good

The Chopped BBQ baked potato with everything on it is legendary, extremely good and generous portion. Their house BBQ sauce is delicious as well, great new place will be returning often.

The regular sauce was overly salted ketchup, the “spicy” sauce wasn’t spicy but just ketchup, okra was overly salted and overcooked, the pinto beans are fairly decent and the customer service was bad. I would not pick this place if you want good BBQ.

Don't do take-out over the quarantine with these folks. They'll give you the oldest looking brisket you've ever seen, shameless.

First time to get food there. Very satisfied with my sliced brisket. Cole slaw good. Hard to find good cole slaw. Will surely eat there again. Employees very good and attentive to customers. Try it people. Will be ratified. Prices not expensive as some bbq joints are.

I want to give this place a high rating. I really do. They have good food that's usually pretty fresh. The customer service is pretty good, too. Prices are reasonable as well. However, today after having lunch, I went to the restroom. On the floor was a roach. Gross. And it wasn't the big kind some times known as a water bug, that you commonly see around water sources. It was one of the smaller ones you see when things aren't as clean as they could be. Needless to say, I won't be returning to Lone Star BBQ.

One of my go-to BBQ spots in Fort Worth. Been going here about 14 years and never had a bad meal. The smoked chicken is the only smoke chicken I'll eat. Brisket is great as well. The owner is great, as is all of the staff. Definitely check it out.

Lone Star Bar-B-Que ----- 5 star flavorThis place is just amazing. Frito Pie, yes please. The meats are smoked then sliced and prepared right in front of you. Choice of sauce and a pepper salad bar. Wow is all I can say. Dont miss this gem. There was even live music the night we went.

The food was good but I wouldn’t feel comfortable bringing my family here. The mask policy is a joke. One employee had a mask below his chin and a woman who worked in the back came out without a mask at all. There is no social distancing precautions being taken place (except at the line you go through so you don’t get too close to the employees). All common touch items were free to use (tongs on the relish bar, S&P shakers on the table, utensils, sauce bottles, etc.). Not sure how many other people used them before I got there but I wasn’t about to touch them. I’m not a germaphobe but I do work in a restaurant that takes all of these things very seriously. I just would like other places to take my family’s health as seriously. I won’t be coming back.

The food is great. The people are genuine and kind. It is a wonderful family place and a neighborhood treasure.

Worst pulled pork sandwich I've ever had. The second sandwich was missing half the chopped beef. Won't go back!

1st time ever eating here. I had a chopped BBQ potato with everything on it and their mild BBQ sauce on the side. I'm picky when it comes to BBQ sauces but the sauce was very tasty, I would have it again. The potato was a decent size and the price was very good. I'm giving this 4 stars because the shredded cheddar cheese they put on it was a strange consistency and it tasted fake. But I would still eat this again. Also, when i go out to eat i'm the kind of person who just wants to be left alone till i leave. I was the only person in there at the time and for some reason a lady felt the need to come and bus my table while i was still sitting there.So they are very attentive and some people may like that but it just made me feel like they were rushing me to get out.

Best place in town for a bake potato with all the fixings and whatever BBQ meat you would like. Large selection of sides. Very quick and great for take out

It really is a wonderful bbq house! I love that it’s family owned and operated. There is care and true hospitality. It’s clean and the food is fresh and tasty. The brisket , you can cut with your fork and the rolls are to die for. I completely recommend this place for lunch and dinner.

The brisket is legitimately good. Smoked to perfection. They know how to do brisket right. That's rare in my opinion. Go see them - and try the brisket.

Best bbq sauce in North Texas and great food. Broccoli/rice side dish is TDF.

Use cation when using delivery.Food was ok but not worth the price. Ordered through grubhub and was missing BBQ sauce and the Styrofoam plates were very greasy. Tried calling the restaurant and was put on hold for 10 minutes. When the store picked up i asked for a manager to be informed that there was no one there. The person on the phone was apoplectic but was informed that I would have to drive up to the store for the sauce defeating the purpose of delivery.

I would love to rave about this place as the prices were reasonable and the food was acceptable, but that's all I can say it was acceptable really could have tried a bit harder that brisket was not very flavorful the sausage felt like it came right out of a package and through the smoker, this would have been a lower * but they got it back with the cookie damn that was a good cookie

This is My Barbecue place. The owner is very friendly. Best barbecue for my money, my wife and I have dinner here at least once a week! The menu here is vast, but simply put together . Meat of all different types beef, pork and chicken with excellent sides! Love it!

Hadn't been here in a long time because I no longer work close by. I rarely want bbq, but today I had a craving and decided to order Lonestar. Food was great. Super fresh and delicious. I've always felt like they have good prices here and portions are good. I felt like the social distancing practices for ordering to go were great but the dining room seemed a little cramped. Overall very happy and satisfied my rare bbq craving!

Brisket was very good, as was the hamburger..Didn't like the MacNCheese, too watery tasting, no flavor at all.. French fries weren't good either. Friendly place and friendly workers. Very clean as well.
